Insomnia is the inability to get to sleep or remain asleep throughout the night. Insomnia is seldom caused by any specific condition and is related to physical and/or psychological factors. Some of these include tension, anxiety, stress, depression, concern, etc. Stimulants, especially if taken before retiring at night, may cause insomnia.
