Honestly Essential Oils - Lesson 17
The 17th episode of insight into Essential Oils and how they can benefit your life and improve your Lifestyle!
Cajeput, it's spelled C.A.J.E.P.U.T, is from the Melaleuca family, which is the same family the tea tree comes from, and because it comes from this genius of plants is very strong as an antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiseptic. And this is what I call my medicine oil. And when I deal with very strong and serious infections, that is that will that I turn to together with rosemary, thyme, oregano and its cousin Tea Tree.
The conditions that it helps with and not only treating the infections, but as an analgesic. It helps to deal with the pain that those conditions cause. It also helps with relieving pain and inflammation in other conditions such as gout, rheumatoid arthritis, joint pain, muscle pain, etc.. As a decongestant, people that suffer with asthma use it to bring relief as well. Cajeput blains very well with oils such as benzoin and your citrus oils and the other ones I've already mentioned to treat conditions that involve inflammation, bacteria and viruses. As an antifungal, it's excellent to treat fungal related conditions such as athlete's foot verrucas, warts, ringworm, cystitis diathesis, etc.
Cajeput is available from HonestlyEssential.com and more information about Cajeput and other essential oils can be found in my book, Aromatherapy for Natural Health and Beauty, which is also available through HonestlyEssential.Com.
